A midcentury apartment reimagined as a tranquil home in the sky, featuring bold open spaces and a sophisticated palette of understated materials, finishes, and furnishings.

Nestled in Sutton Place, one of Manhattan’s most intimate and serene residential enclaves, this project transformed a mid-century apartment into a refined sanctuary above the city. Sutton Place’s quiet, tree-lined streets and East River views informed the calm, elevated sensibility running through every design decision.

Open-plan living areas, a muted palette of natural stone and warm neutrals, and carefully edited furnishings give the space a hotel-like serenity without sacrificing warmth. The renovation reimagined flow and proportion while retaining the original architecture’s clean mid-century bones.
