Sam Tonos founded Tonos Design Studio in 1994 to provide architectural and interior design services for a diverse range of clients. The studio designs each project to meet the unique needs and aspirations of clients in townhouses, apartments, homes, and commercial spaces across the greater New York City area and beyond.
Before founding Tonos Design Studio, Sam was a project designer at Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates and an associate at Anderson Schwartz Architects. At Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer, he contributed to the design teams for major projects such as the Los Angeles Central Library, Bridgemarket, and The Rainbow Room. As an associate at Anderson Schwartz Architects, he served on a wide range of projects, including as an interior design consultant on projects with Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates, working closely with Robert Venturi.
